Hobbies: Besides practicing yoga and mindfulness - making jewelry, reading, dancing, being outdoors, listening to music, spending time with my family and my two dogs.

What is your favorite pose and why? One of my favorite poses is Sirsasana. I love this pose because it requires focus, balance and strength. When I am in headstand my mind is calm, relaxed and I feel at peace.

When did you start practicing yoga? I began practicing yoga consistently in 2013. I started with a general class at Lifetime and then a friend suggested I try Center for Yoga. I took my first hot vinyasa and never looked back.

Who are your teachers and where did you train? My inspirational teachers: Michelle Fox, Tommy Mack, and Sam Arin. I trained with Tommy Mack at Center for Yoga in 2016. As a teacher by nature, my passion for practicing yoga quickly developed into the strong desire to take teacher training. I wanted to spread the benefits of yoga to others. I also spent three days training at Hilltop Yoga with Kino MacGregor and completed two Mindfulness courses through MindfulSchools.
