What is your favorite pose and why? Half moon, I love it because it feels so expansive and opening. I love seeing if I can find stillness in the pose, it makes me feel strong!
When did you start practicing yoga? I started in 2019. I soon fell in love with learning about the practice and began my training in 2021!
Who are your teachers and where did you train? I trained at Namaste Yoga Royal Oak and mentored with Melissa Weber, who has and continues to teach me to let go, refine, and to strive for embodiment of this practice. I am grateful to have found Practice Yoga Studios where I met my most recent teacher, Tommy Mack, who has helped me deepen my own practice in many ways and continues to inspire me to keep growing and evolving as a teacher and as a person. I am honored to join this team and can’t wait to keep learning!
What is your motto? My mottos are always changing! I think currently my motto is “always do the thing you’re afraid of “because it helps me remember to step out of my own head and into life despite whatever fears may be holding my back.
